Is feeling like a pathetic failure of humanity. Guess its too late for me. I've grown into who I am and there's no changing the essence. I am a one and only. No two to come. (Just thought of a pathetic pun)
I've always been a one. So I guess companionship skipped this generation.
Sometimes I'm totally ok with this. Especially when I see how very shitty people can be with and to one another. Even just normal interactions.
For instance
(Service person) can I help you with (whatever)
(Customer) no you heartless inferior humanoidToday I made a lady so mad I thought she was going to come over the counter and fight me. She backed up a little then wanted my full name (last names are not used in retail mostly bc people can be so vicious.).
It was a horrible day and so many people were rude. The phone was ringing off the hook and I had to pick up the slack for wireless too ( which is how I got the evil lady anyway)After a horrid day it would have been nice to come home to someone who cares (not in the parental sence which I got but they pretty much think retail is a piece of cake)
It's really a balancing act (you definitely need acting lessons!)

I fully know what you mean by this entry. Much the reason a keep cold beer and wine always in the fridge.
If someone isn't coming to you, maybe you should go to them. If you have an eye on someone cast your line and see what you hook. The worst is that he will say no and you haven't lost anything.
@buddy71 - there's no one. I'm surrounded by married men and women.
I really wouldn't worry about it. The world seems to be crazy this week. The planets must be out of alignment or something. (my healthcare professionals are all doing weird things this week and bipolar) I used to hang up the phone on purpose when I worked, otherwise I would be distracted and put the wrong data in on patients. The human mind can only take so much abuse. Come to think about it, the lady at Social Security bit my head off today, but I hurt too bad today to argue with anyone. Hang in there!
I know all too well about the horrors of retail. I still remember this guy being all pissed because his wife bought a swimsuit at the store and Wisconsin has a state law that swimwear cannot be returned or exchanged once it is purchased. This guy started screaming. I can see his face all these years later. I suppose it is worse when working with phones because the slightest thing people are up in arms.
@LadyofWaters - hugs
Boo this post and boo these feelings! You'll feel better, hopefully soon<3
The crazy things we do for love.
If you mean you'll be forever alone I don't think so. Many people marry at age 50 or older.
As for retail..ugh. yesterday I was in a supermarket that I hate. The whole structure of this place is dumb. The ways are are narrow, and there are no direction signs, even though it is huge, so you have to really look into all of the aisles to find what you need. When yu enter , you find yourself in a huge square with vegetables that takes up half of the width of the place, and you are sort of trapped in there.
IT was etremely full too. I noticed myself getting agressive becaue of other customers blocking my way. A woman came to 'my' cashier and askes why they didn't open a cash point for people with only 5 or 10 items. He said he can't do anything about it, and she totally snapped at him, as if he decided that alone.
That humanooid comment is really shocking!! what the hell!!
@hesacontradiction - something's definitely out of wack. I'm trying to get out of my funk. My friends helped a lot to get me out of it yesturday. Got to have fun. Guess it had just been too long since I felt alive.
@godfatherofgreenbay - that's a weird law. I need a bathing suit for summer.
@jennylovve - I actually feel much better since my friends visit this weekend. I guess I needed some retail therapy and laughs. Plus the escape from family and work.
@RulerofMasons - guess so
@under_the_carpet - people get crazy when they are impatient and out of time. I'm surprised I've lasted so long in retail.
