So while everyone's gone I've been put in charge of watering the plants. I'm also caring for the animals (usual) except for the birds (outside).
I've been cooking for myself trying to stick to my diet. I've managed to have sandwhiches for lunch. The last two dinners have been broccoli stuffed chicken with brown rice (I cooked way too much of this) and English peas and pickled beats.
Last night I caught the cat bird hunting from inside of corse. She had her ears flattened to her head.
This morning I managed to pick a lot of the veggies that were ripening. Some of them looked like they came from Chernobyl.

@ANVRSADDAY -
thanks. I didn't know I was suppose to be picking them till yesturday.
Enjoy the fresh veggies. They will taste better than they look. LOL
Good job caring for things/yourself so well! Haha
I have been watering almost every single day because we haven't had rain.
@my0615 - lol they'll ripen a bit more too before I try eating any.
@jennylovve -
@godfatherofgreenbay - I have watered nearly an hour each day. I can only imagine how high the water bill will be.
yeah, I've cut back on laundry because I don't like running my washing machine while I have the AC running but then I haven't done laundry in two weeks.
@godfatherofgreenbay - if I didn't work I'd probably do laundry every 3 weeks. But work clothes get so nasty and dirty I have to wash every week.
Tomatoes... delicious!!!
@RestlessButterfly - I love tomatoes (they are so versatile) but I don't really like to grow them. lol
