  • Photos...
A friend of mine @LegendaryD wanted me to show some photos of my garden (i've been complaining about having to water so much.  Takes me an hour to do this everyday... I'm probably drowning them.  I am not a plant person.  I'm an animal person.

The little stuff you have to water them delicately.

This part here is infested with spiders.  Little red dots with really long legs.  Watered them today and the spiders went everywhere.  This Will Be The Last Day I Water!

Momma has put plants everywhere even down the stairs.

You have to be very careful trying to water in the corner.  This is where the metal is not solid underneath.

The long view of the rest of her veggies and herbs.

A little closer to the end.  I'm better at keeping the birds alive than the plants.  I keep the feeders filled and their bird bath filled.

These will probably all die.  I forgot these plants don't like too much water and I watered them just like the other plants.

More little nooks and crannies where plants dwell.

More herbs... the cat loves sniffing these.

Im pretty sure I over watered these too.

The side of the house where the rose garden and the other little delicate things are (sunflowers are hiding in there somewhere).

The rest of the garden.  She's got corn and butter beans or lima beans or something in there but nothings producing in there yet.  Only things I've picked this week were tomatoes and a very confused cucumber (looked like a zuchini to me) and some blue berries.

This is a line of fruit trees surrounded by water mellons, straw berries, and peas that circle Coco's pen.

In the very back we have the blue berries... that's where the hose is going to.  I think I drown them today.  I lost track of time.

the front yard had potted plants everywhere

    Also flower beds...

I was afraid the front one was going to die.  I can't get there with the hose very well.  I finally pulled out the grass waterer thingie and used it.

This flower bed actually has cantalope and sunflowers planted in it.

This is my tore all up to peices bathroom when I had to have the plumber come out.  Seemed like a month that I was using my parents bathroom even though it was only a week.

    bye bye old toilet...

One of the old photos of my grandpa.  He wrote on the photo "with love" to my grandma.  it's faded almost beyond recognition.  He was 16 or 17 at the time.

This is a photo of him when he was working at the power company.  I liked it because it looks like he has a antenna coming out of his head.  Reminds me of aliens.

An old elementary photo of him. None of us are really sure which one he is but we think it's the short guy in the middle. top row.

  • It's funny.  I ended up looking at your garden album, then noticed you posted a blog about it.  Your garden really looks interesting, and huge!  You also have a lot of interesting plants that I haven't grown before as well.  If I were you, I would be picking a lot of the fruits and veggies, especially the blueberries!

Anyways, thank you for sharing your garden.  It makes mine pale in comparison to yours, since the majority of herbs, veggies and fruits are hard to grow because of our fluctuating heat.

  • Thanks for sharing the photos of your garden and grandpa. Your grandpa looks like an intelligent guy and the garden looks great.

  • Pretty neat garden!  Are you sure you're not a plant person

  • wow! that is a lot of plant care.  i dont have a green thumb.  i also do better with animals

  • @RestlessButterfly - I'm definitely not. It's all moms.
