This week is sucking.
My neice is visiting. Yet my dad is being a control freak. My mom is being very opinionated (not in a good way) about all my fun suggestions.
My bro is feeding the child junk 24/7And I've had a bad work week (the usual)
Dads mad at my neice bc she doesn't eat right is spoiled and is a teenager with a bit of attitude at times.
We have her one week out of well 2-3 years and he wants to bring this disciplinary self out during it. He will make her not want to come back.
We've bowled. And played card games two nights this week. That's the extent of my time.
My bro has taken her to movies and shopped.
Were going to the water park today. I'm miserable. PMSing and grumpy. Today will suck for me.
The entire family not getting along in a car for 4 hrs plus 110+ heat and crazy messed up children everywhere.
Yey me.

I hope the rest of her visit goes better. I wouldn't leave the house if it was that hot.
You could not pay me to go to a water park!!! Maybe you can make a secret plan with the niece and just tell your parents you all are going out for girl time. Be vague so your mom won't have much to be opinionated about!

@godfatherofgreenbay - it's been extremely hot all summer. My neice left yesturday for her home. It wasn't too bad of a visit but it was pretty stressful at times.

You know, I've been reading your blog(s) on and off for almost a decade now! As you point out....."the usual." You do get to travel a lot, and your take on everything is pretty good. Hope you get the AC back on and don't melt, by the way.

the AC came on a little while ago. I avoided the house with work and then mall trolling until then. Less sucky tomorrow would be fantastic!
