  • Just a quick photo dump...

    I was pretty proud of this home made pizza.  It was yummy.  
    Kashmir was able to have breakfast with me every morning when it was just me and her at the house.  Our routine was me eating cheerios and leaving her just a bit of milk at the bottom which she would sniff and usually leave.
    This is a picture posted online.  Supposidely my relatives on the "outlaw" side got married here back in 1600's I beleive.  
    Someone on the same line is suppose to be buried here.
    Kashmir took over my mother's seat.  
    Kashmir keeping me company when I was reading a couple days ago.  
    Not the greatest of pictures since they were taken with my phone.  
    I'm started to get melancholi again.  Must be change in weather.
    My family trees getting a little hard to work now.  I think I may have relied a bit too much on other peoples trees.  You want to keep going and grasping at straws to do so.  Other peoples trees may not necessarily be the best ways to keep going though sometimes they're research isn't as good as what you could do on your own.
    Next week I have the start of a computer based schedule at work.  Even though I have an "open" schedule meaning I can work anytime... I've been working morning shift.  Well the computer doesn't have a brain and doesn't care about sleep for its workers.  So I have 7am to 4pm schedules plus 3pm to midnight schedules all in the same week.  No conjoining off days either.  Our boss is trying to get rid of people.  I struggle to keep going.
    I have a dr. appointment next week too.  I'm going to ask about getting the dna test to find out if i have the gene for ovarian/pancreatic cancer BRAC1and2 gene.  If I don't I'll feel a lot better.  If I do I'll feel exactly the same as I do now.

  • I take loads of phone pictures and these are really good.  I like to shoot dark and I like how some of yours are dark.
    I haven't had dinner and that homemade pizza looks yummy!!!!!!  I better get some dinner together.  lol

    I get melancholy this time of year too.  Always have. 

    I'm not interested in the gene tests. Good luck with yours.  I hope the results help.

    the change in the light and getting darker earlier can make one have mood chamges

  • Beautiful Kashmir!  Shame about the schedule.  Can you change your availability to day shift?  Think "they" would do that for those with regular schedules!  

  • Family trees have such tangled roots. When my aunt did ours, she was mainly interested in proving our connection to a certain famous ancestor. It helped narrow her search down but it also feels a little incomplete.
