Im on vacation
I can't afford to do anything really cool this year. Not since "my" economy went to the crapper. Thanks work for screwing the full time associate and hiring all the part timers to eventually replace us when we have too much of the "shit" they give out. Oh wait was I being derogatory?
So this weekend not doing much. Hanging at the house waiting for the family to come back home.Monday I'll be going on a tiny road trip. Taking my camera to take pictures of some graves that belong in my family. A quick swing by USM library to copy (hopefully) a journal one of my ancestors wrote. And then I'm off to the coast for more grave photos. While down there I'm hoping to take in a few sites.Probably won't be gone but a day (hopefully).Then it's back to the house and I have an appointment to see some financial guy that my dad deals with. He's wanting me to "invest" in my future. Said my savings is just sitting there and it needs to grow faster in a new and exciting way. :-/Talked to my friend in Germany this afternoon. It was a miss this time. 20 minutes and we struggled to keep the conversation going.

sounds like you are going to have a good time though... it doesn't always have to be something that is far away for vacation and some fun. Getting to copy that journal sounds interesting.
I hate when I don't know what to say on the phone. I sometimes don't even know what to write in facebook conversations, or what is adequate to ask/say in e-mails. I am so awkward, lol.

I fear many are hurting in this 'economy.' Many only have part time jobs. It is tough.
I sometimes find it hard to talk to people that i know. There is some kind of tension that is not clear.

@RulerofMasons - Well you have to understand that we've all changed so much and I'm not good on the phone. She's also about 8 hours ahead of me and it was pretty late her time. We all have our off days.
@under_the_carpet - we must be kindred spirits in that behalf. I am awkward to say the least. socially awkward would be the right term I think.

@ANVRSADDAY - Hopefully it'll right itself soon. I think companies have stream lined so much that they don't need anything but parttimers.
